Before you attempt such a rescue operation, there are
several points you need to be aware of.Although the Blazer’s alternator survived the operation, putting
alternators under such a heavy load for extended periods of time may destroy
it.
A battery rated less than 1,000 amps
will increase the strain on the alternator and the battery.
